His grandmother, Nora Ngema, said she was left in care of the two children Ndumiso and younger sister Nokubonga Mshina (2) while their mother attended a church service. The incident happened on Friday, July 18 Mandela Day at about 13:10.

According to the grandmother the problem started when they built them RDP houses in Vosman more than a year ago and while they already had electricity in their old shacks, connection had to be made in the electrical boxes in the new houses.

Cable connection was done from poles, which had put up to the new houses and she said the problem was the connection. Ms Ngema added that their wire fence and even their washing line were live. Municipal officials took out the cable and hopefully the problem will be solved.
