Royal family speaks to matric learners

As the chilly week continued so did the matric learners from Kopanang Secondary, who attended their winter school in preparation for their final exams.

They were paid a visit by the Royal Family, which is a group of young God fearing people, who formed a non-profitable organization where they do community outreaches for old age homes, orphanages or any group of people who seek any charitable help.

These young people try and play their role to help bring change in their community.

The warm hearted students, who grew up in eMalahleni, had a career guide outreach talk where they had a chance to address learners about varsity life and also gave brief descriptions about their different courses. They divided into two groups where one group spoke about engineering, commerce, construction, law, IT and accounting and another about humanity courses like education, journalism, psychology and sports management.

The Royal Family’s aim for the talk was so that they could share with matric learners their experiences, advice about varsity life from a personal point of view and also motivate and give them tips as the learners will be starting with tertiary education next year.

The career guide talk was a huge success as the learners were enlightened and were also given a chance to ask questions. The Royal family was very pleased with the response they got from matric learners and say they plan to do this yearly.
