The event was held on Saturday, May 24.
A family-styled event, where there were activities for children; food stalls and a craft market to be enjoyed.
Up to 1 000 people came out to support the outdoor event in the glorious winter sun. Bikers participating in the ride and the public attending the event were encouraged to bring a blanket to be donated to a local charity. Over 100 blankets and R18 000 in cash was collected and will be donated to White Rose Hospice.
The Ridge Casino’s Marketing Manager, Thapelo Modise thanks the sponsors that helped make the event possible.
““We would also like to thank the community, sponsors and corporate donors for their invaluable support.
We had an excellent turnout for what we consider to be an extremely worthy cause. We hope to make this winter a little warmer and more comfortable for people in need,” said Modise.
