It is not just the looks and the body that Soon Scheepers have to offer. His warm personality has given him the edge and makes him one of the country’s hottest contenders for the very prestigious Mr SA title.
In front of the camera the 25-year old Soon is on fire. His bubbly personality, smouldering eyes, well toned body and strong features are a combination that makes him one of the favourites in the running of the title.
Behind the cameras a very relaxed Soon shared a bit about his modelling career and his zest to win this competition.
Soon relocated to eMalahleni seven months ago and works as an IT/Access Control Technician.
“I love challenges and is always trying new things,” he said and smiled.
Soon entered the Mr SA title competition last year and was amongst the top 20. For him this was a learning curve and he will be using last year’s experience to polish this year’s performance.
He plans to do this by implementing his favourite quote in everything he does, ‘The only difference between possible
and impossible is, impossible just takes a bit longer’. Soon grabs each day’s possibilities with both hands and pushes it over the limit.
One would think in order to maintain his body in the shape
it is in, Soon would be strict on what he eats.
No, like most young men you can reach the way to his heart with a few slices of pizza, steak and chip, pasta and a mouth watering homemade Sunday lunch.
Soon also is an avid sportsman and that is clear when you
see what kinds of sport he loves doing, rugby, mixed
martial arts, cage fighting, bike riding and he also spends hours in the gym.
And to unwind he can be found fishing or just camping
under the stars.
“Overall I am a crazy guy who likes to do stuff never done before,” he said before he dashes off to the next photo shoot.
‘Excellence, integrity, adventure, professionalism, competence and compassion’, these are the characteristics that define Mr South Africa. It is evident that Soon has all the characteristics to become the next Mr South Africa.
