House burned in Klarinet

Ms Julia Molemole was shocked when she received a call telling her that her house was on fire.

The mother of five children said she had gone to the city together with her children on Wednesday, January 22 when she received the call. According to the information, she said a neighbour had noticed smoke coming out of one of the bedrooms and on further investigation, she saw that the room was on fire, she then shouted for help.

The fire started at about 07:00. Other neighbours came to the rescue and the fire engine also came.
The cause of the fire remains a mystery because nobody was in the house when the fire started.

The ceiling of the house also burned during the fire at the Molemole family house in Klarinet Extension 6 on a Wednesday morning.

“It was so fortunate we were all out because the damage was extensive. We lost all our clothes and we were left with what we were wearing. School uniforms also burned during the fire” noted Ms Molemole.

The family also lost a bed, blankets; the ceiling of the whole house was also burned. Another mystery is that all the electrical appliances in the house were not affected by the fire.

Police have opened and is investigating a case of arson.
