The Eastvaal Witbank RC 1st XV dominated the, top of the log, White River 1st XV securing a 38-25 win over White River rugby club who are currently on top in the Puma League.
The game which took place on Saturday May 25 at Witbank high grounds saw fans consumed with the palpable energy that players brought to the field.
For Eastvaal it was effort, trust and commitment which kept them ticking up the scoreboard throughout the 80 minute game.
White River displayed their field prowess by soughing in the second and third team games they played against Eastvaal.
Even though Eastvaal’s second team lost against White River they still have a great chance to get a top position if they can get a winning streak from the start of the second round against New Castle in the coming weekend.
