We are all familiar with the Parkrun every Saturday morning at 08:00.

But, if you really love running you can now join the MyRun every Sunday morning at 08:00 at The Hockey Farm.

The very first MyRun was held on Sunday, April 7 and 61 runners joined in the fun.

Dog owners took their dogs for a walk, runners ran the route and it was heaps of fun.

Desiree Venter, Bianca Genis and Adele Genis anxiously waiting for the race to start.

There is a 2.5 km as well as a 5 km run and Arthur Smith added: “We had visitors all the way from Mossel Bay at our first MyRun.”

Dogs are allowed at the event and it is great exercise for old and young.
