‘Mojokes’ coming to town

On Saturday, August 1 you can catch the popular comedian, David Kau’s very first live show at The Ridge’s premier venue, The Venue.

Kau will take the stage with Skhumba Hlophe as an MC for the evening. This show, titled ‘Mojokes’, promises side-splitting comedy.
“Expect razor-sharp fun and hilarious antics. The Venue at The Ridge will be packed to the rafters, so fans are encouraged to buy their tickets early to secure their spot,” said Sharika Betts, Marketing Manager of The Ridge.
Also a writer, producer, director and filmmaker, Kau headlines a number of local and international comedy festivals. The Pure Monate and Blacks Only shows have made this well-loved comedian a household name in South Africa.

Betts said, “Having hosted a number of local comedy legends like Barry Hilton and Trevor Noah in the past, we can’t wait to host another. This show is bound to keep guests talking, laughing and reminiscing for months.”
Food and refreshments will be on sale at The Venue for guests. Tickets are on sale from R120 per person and are available at The Ridge website or at Computicket.
