The aim of the walk is to raise awareness against abortion and teenage pregnancy.
“We have seen that the youth of eMalahleni as a whole is silent about this issue of abortion, so as the Catholic youth we have decided to take action against it because it is a serious problem and through abortion young lives are being destroyed. So through this campaign we would like to preach the message of saying no to abortion and teenage pregnancy,” reads a statement from the group.
Young people are invited to join in the walk against abortion and teenage pregnancy.
The walk will take place on Saturday, May 9 from the Catholic Church to Klipfontein Dam starting at 09:00.
