Witbank SPCA received a boon like none other from Glencore.

Witbank SPCA received a boon like none other from Glencore.

Glencore employees paid a visit to Witbank SPCA where they handed over a cheque of R50 000 towards the facility which acts as a home for pets without families.

“Many, many thanks to Glencore for the generous donation of R50 000. We are extremely blessed by companies such as this that step in and make a difference,” said Witbank SPCA.

One of Witbank SPCA’s biggest projects that they are undertaking this year is establishing a perimeter wall around the centre which will help ensure the safety of the animals in their care and to provide protection to the facility.

Glencore made a hefty donation to Witbank SPCA, here are from left: Thys Marx (Glencore), Benedict Masemola (kennel assistant), Di van der Walt (Glencore), Comfort Mphahlele (administrator), Nicolous Mahlangu (trainee inspector), Goodwill Masemola (kennel assistant).

“This donation has given us a huge head start to ensure that our premises will be safe,” said Witbank SPCA.

The funds will go a long way towards filling furry tummies while keeping them safe from harm.

“Words cannot express our appreciation.”
