Coaldust Roadrunners is going forward

Coaldust Road Runners is the oldest Running Club in this area.

Although a small club, Coaldust is one of the more active running clubs around, offering five races per year with four of them being for charity.

The upcoming event is the McCarthy-Elkana Night race on March 26.
The big event is still the Coaldust Dreams Challenge in October.

At the club’s annual general meeting on Thursday, March 13, a new executive committee was elected to take the club forward.
Neels Vermeulen is running up-front as president whilst Abie Smit is behind the steering wheel as chairperson.
Derek Reilly got two seats as deputy chair and as club captain.

Spanny Hildago Souto is in charge of finances and Hettie Terblanche is secretary.  Lesley Vermeulen and Rosemarie Roets were elected as additional members to the committee.

Coaldust has time trials every Tuesday from 18:00 at Elkana Educational Centre in Reyno Ridge.
“You need not be a member of Coaldust to run along,  come join us,” Abie invited.
