Kick boxers turned to boxing

Two kick boxers who started their careers in kickboxing have turned to boxing as a better option.

The pair, Xolani Silothile (19) and Osea Mahlosana Mofehla (23) both fighters has turned to boxing.

Osea started participating in kickboxing at around 2006 and during that process had over 40 kick boxing matches and lost only five.
He started school at KwaGuqa Primary School and proceeded to Empucukweni Secondary for his secondary education and matriculated at Ngwaabe Comprehensive School in Limpopo.

He is one of the boys in a family of five children, four boys and one girl. He fights in the middleweight division (72kg).
Xolani started his career as a kick boxer in 2011 and currently has a record of six fights with two loses.

He started school at Jeremia Mdaka Primary School in Vosman and went to Mapulefondane Comprehensive School and matriculated at Zacheus Malaza Secondary School.

He is one of the boys in a family of six children, three boys and three girls; he is the first born in the family.
Paul ‘Sika’ Tshehla identified Xolana during the boxing development program in Ogies, last year.

“This proves that the development program is working and has already started to bear fruits. The aim is to produce an Olympian gold medallist in the future,” said Lawrence Ngobeni a former national boxing champion.
