Robbed after getting a lift

The value of all the items taken has a worth of about R3 000

Vosman police are investigating a case of robbery after a man was robbed after being offered a lift.

A complainant, Mr Robert Khumalo (33) reported to the police that on Tuesday, November 29 at about 11:45 he hitch hiked.

He got a lift from a car with two occupants. While on the road one of the men produced a firearm and pointed it at him and demanded money. He was robbed of his cash, clothing items, ID book , security certificate, first aid certificate, bank cards, a Nokia Asha 201 cell phone and Tablet Premier.

The value of all the items taken has a worth of about R3 000. Khumalo was then forced out of the vehicle. The two men are unkown to him .
No one has been arrested yet.
