The month-end weekend saw numerous motor vehicles being involved in car accidents in and around the city.
On Saturday, October 29 around 15:30 a white Toyota Quantum overturned. The police report alleged that he parked the car at the parking lot where the vehicle failed to brake until it turned over. Damages the car sustained are at the front and back, both on the right hand side with the windscreen being damaged as well. The driver refused to comment on the incident.

At 19:30 on Sunday, October 30 another accident happened at the Bethal Road near El Paso.
It is alleged that the white car was travelling in the direction of El Paso. The driver went over the barrier then straight into the ditch, on scene his car was found lying on its side.
The driver fled the scene soon after the accident; investigations are on going in trying to locate the driver. Every little detail found on scene was handed over to the police, hoping they will find a lead.
