On November 4 The Soil will be launching their album ‘Echoes of Kofifi’
This Acapella group who is a BET awards nominated group and SAMA award winners for best R&B/Soul/Reggae album is heading to The Ridge on a tour to launch their new album and to give local fans a taste of their sounds.
The Soil grabbed the attention of many when they released their self-titled debut album in 2011. The album has since gone platinum, making way for their sophomore album, The Soil Nostalgic Moments, which gave rise to the much loved hit, Susan.
The Soil will be performing at The Venue at The Ridge on November 4.
Patrons can look forward to a night filled with amazing, and afro soul sounds. Tickets are R180 per person and the show starts at 19:00.
Regulars will be excited to know that the very popular Black Coffee will be performing at The Venue on December 10.
DJ Black Coffee, is a music legend who has taken the world by storm, not only is he a household name locally; he is an international artist who spends his South African winter entertaining the whole of Europe and the US in his ‘summer’ tour. Be sure to look forward to acts like DJ Smallik, DJ Czwe and Mr Salz. A complete act from start to finish, you are encouraged to bring your dancing shoes.
Tickets are R200 per person and the show starts at 19:00.
