Still no news about R555 accident

A red Volkswagen Polo and a silver Nissan Navara collided head on, but the cause of the accident is still unknown. This accident left seven passengers injured and two were declared dead on scene.
One of the wrecks involved in the accident was a silver Nissan Navara on the old Middelburg Road (R555) on Friday, July 1.
The deceased were identified as Bomsimi Nkosi Martin Mavimbela (31), originally from Ga-Nala and Gordon Ntokoza Fakude (28).
“They died as a result of the injuries sustained during the accident,” police spokesperson, Capt Eddie Hall said on Tuesday.
The other seven passengers were transported to the nearest hospital with Lanagmed Emergency Management Services.
A case of culpible homicide was opened at Witbank Police Station and the investigation is still ongoing.
The family of the deceased was not available for comment by the time of print.
