A car that was found at Foxglove Street where the driver allegedly lost control leading to the car being stuck in the bushes. This happened on May 13.

A man that was driving a mini bus at Van Dyk’s drift road on the R544 burned to death on May 13. The driver allegedly hit a barrier and the vehicle got set alight on impact. ER24 ambulance services rushed to the scene and declared the man dead. The man has not been identified yet.

Hours later on the same evening a car landed in the bushes of Foxglove Street when the driver of the vehicle allegedly lost control of the car and drove into the bushes.

More than two cars drove into one another on the N4 highway. This incident took place on the evening of May 15.

According to the Operational Manager of Langamed Emergency Management, Mr Gerrie Dalgleish there were seven cars that were involved in the accident on the N4 towards Middelburg. It is alleged that the vehicles drove into one another on the evening of May 15. Vehicles involved in the accident include a red Audi, a Toyota Hilux and two white Hyundai’s. Three people were injured.

A total of 27 accidents were reported this past weekend.
