Hijackers managed to grab a taxi driver who was parked in a parking lot.
Mr Doctor Masombuka alleged that Friday, April 8 at 18:30 he parked his white Toyota Quantum in a well known parking area.
He left the vehicle and everything was in order when he returned back to his vehicle with some passengers.
He started the taxi and the passengers started climbing into the vehicle. Three unknown men approached Masombuka, they took the car keys from the ignition.
While this was happening one suspect went to the passengers and they were held up.
They then ordered Masombuka to go to the back of the vehicle, the passengers were also told to climb in the back and to keep their heads down.
The suspects climbed into the vehicle and drove it to Verena and everyone was told to get out and run into the bushes.
Cell phones and the taxi were taken, no shots were fired.
