A thief or thieves broke-in at a priest’s house in Ackerville recently.
The glass door leading to Father Kgonyana Kgarudi’s house in Ackerville which was broken and a flat screen television was stolen on Sunday, January 10.
Father Kgonyana Kgarudi of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church was busy conducting mass in church when the incident happened on Sunday on January 10 between 08:00 and 10:00. The thieve or thieves broke one of the burglar bars and used it to break a glass door leading to the house. They then took away a flat screen television and used the space to escape.

The congregants were surprised to find out that about the break-in while mass was in the process.
The matter was reported to the Vosman Police Station and the police are investigating a case of housebreaking and theft and no one has been arrested.
