It was indicated that Gogo Mabena who has been a loyal member of the organisation will at last get a house she be proud of. Her old mud house was falling apart and Gogo Mabena was worried that the house might fall on her.

To make the presentation special is that it was done during August, Women’s Month.

Gogo Mabena thanked the organisation and all the companies and individuals who were involved in building the house.
Ms Constance Moyo one of the directors of Charlie’s Building Construction (CBC) said it was their gratitude in collaboration with Liviero in remembrance of ‘our father’ Nelson Mandela as Gogo Mabena was identified with the help of the community liaison officer (CLO) and the people involved.

Ms Moyo stated that CBC is a firm believer in supporting the community they are part of. She said a well supported community gives in return and contributing to it ensures that the community will stick around longer than a few months. She also stated that there were several ways one can contribute to their communities no matter what one can do as a freelancer.

She mentioned that the trick is doing something one loves, is good at and makes one happy, offering it for free. She said giving back to the community leads to multiple benefits, as one is not giving to the community, you are increasing your professionalism, especially if its something valuable.

“Giving back to the community is our norm at Charlie’s Building Construction. We try to help at all cost whenever we can. We are very thankful for being able to give such help to Gogo Mabena. We hope from now onwards she will sleep well and be protected in her new house. I thereby invite all people who can help in any way; it will make a difference to whoever is giving. Blessed is the hand that gives,” stated Ms Moyo.

Ms Moyo also indicated that giving is the highest expression of potency. “In the very act of giving we experience strength, wealth and power. This spirit of giving back to the community fills Charlie’s Building with joy. Giving is more joyous than receiving because in the act of giving lies the expression of aliveness” ended Ms Moyo.
