Yvonne to move to rehab shortly
The couple from Middelburg, who were involved in a serious accident at the Middelburg toll plaza, is making slow but good recovery.
On Friday, May 1 Mr Willie Els and his wife Yvonne were travelling on the N4 highway towards Middelburg when the accident occurred at the Middelburg Toll Plaza.
Willie sustained serious head injuries and Yvonne sustained severe lung and chest injuries. They were stabilised and then transferred to Netcare Milpark Hospital.
“My mother-in-law should be going to rehab shortly, but my father-in-law is still the same, sleepy and confused,” said Mr Joggie Smit, their son-in-law.
