Neighbours witness a house on fire

The house in Phola was gutted by fire on Wednesday, April 1 at about 13:45.

The cause of the fire at the Nkabinde home is still unknown and they lost everything that was in the house.
A son staying in the shack with his mother were the most affected by the fire as they lost everything.

The neighbour said they were sitting outside when they noticed smoke coming out of the shack and helped putting out the flames.
In the shack there were two beds, clothes, blankets and other things which all burned to the ground.

The value of the items that burned is estimated to be more than thousands of Rands. Fortunately the fire was prevented from burning down the main house as well.
