Load shedding stage 1 has been implemented to stabilise the system. Municipalities that shed their own load will get further instruction from the Eskom regional control centre and those municipalities and other customers that are shed by Eskom should familiarise themselves with the load shedding schedules on the following website.
Note – Key Industrial customers are not required to curtail load.

With reference to the load shedding announcement by ESKOM they have already implemented it and Buffer sub station, serving amongst others Ferro Bank is off at present.
Our current information is that they will after two hours move from Buffer to another town. We do not yet have information on whether we will have further load shedding today or the weekend.
Be also pre-warned that the anticipation for next week is not good and that it is possible that from Monday we will have full load shedding. As we gather more information we will share with you.
