Spurs going strong into mid-season

Spurs will play against Maluti FET College this weekend.

Witbank Spurs will take on Maluti FET College at Charles Mopeli Stadium on December 6 with kick off at 15:30.
“After our rained-out weekend fixture against Vasco Da Gama, the team is looking forward to this fixture. We don’t want to lose touch with the leading pack and we will be going for our first away win this weekend,” said George Khumalo, Spurs PRO.

Spurs added that they will not be intimidated by Maluti’s position on the log and will go into the match fighting.
“We still feel that we are on course to attain our mid-term goal,” added George.
Spurs will be welcoming back their twin players, Peter and Patrick Mubayiwa, after attending a funeral back home in Zimbabwe.
Randy Ngobe and Vusi Mthimkhulu will be out for this encounter due to injuries sustained in the past two games.
“Our game against Vasco Da Gama would be replayed for 90 minutes at a date still to be confirmed by the PSL,” said George and entrance for that game will be free.

Spurs have a number of games lined up for the remainder of the year, so be sure to keep those dates open and come and show your support.
They will be playing Royal Eagles at Puma Stadium on December 13 and Thanda Royal Zulu on December 20. Witbank Spurs will also be engaging in a Nedbank Preliminary Match on December 10, their opponent and venue is still to be decided.
