Anglo Coal Fun Run event was a huge success and attracted old and young runners and walkers to participate this year.

The 10 and 21km Anglo Coal Run Walk for Life kicked off early on Saturday, November 29 at Landau.
Eskom Mpumalanga Athletes team also participated and once again delivered excellent results.

In the 10km competition: Sipho Hlumbane won first place in the over 40 age category with a time of 34:31 and Piet Britton (47:34) took first prize in the over 60 age category.

Douglas Snel was second (over 50) and Frans de Ruijter third (over 60).
Retha Janse van Vuuren came in second among the ladies, with a time of 52:12. Hannelie van Zyl won overall third place and first place for ladies over 50. Delphine Fourie came in third (over 50) and Susan de Ruijter was first in the ladies over 60 category.
In the 21km category Gift Ramabele received second place.
