The poisoning of Hay’s Labrador took place on October 29. Hay added that her other dogs slept inside the house and fortunately weren’t poisoned, however she was very upset that her Labrador had been a victim of these dog poisonings.
“Why did they have to poison her, she wasn’t even aggressive. She has been a loyal companion of mine for nine years,” said Hay.
This poisoning adds to the already steep tally of dog poisonings which have occurred throughout eMalahleni.
In just the month of October at least 20 dogs have been poisoned and nothing is stopping these criminals from carrying out these acts of animal cruelty.

As I had to go through a horrid experience with my dogs being poisoned and seeing how they suffered, I would like the poisoners to be fed their own poison and experience what our innocent babies had to go through.
