A member of the community in Hlalanikahle found the body of a man in the veldt.
A shepherd found the deceased while herding cattle in the vicinity. The body of a man believed to be between 20 and 25 years old, was found between Kromdraai Primary School and a sub-station in Hlalanikahle Extension 4 on Monday, between 07:00 and 08:00.
The man was wearing navy blue trousers and a pink T-shirt without any shoes.
Police are investigating the cause of death, and are appealing to members of the community who may be missing a family member corresponding to the description to contact them. The body is being kept at the government mortuary at Witbank Police Station.
