The Witbank Artificial Lure Angling Club casts a wide net, searching for the ultimate angler to land the elusive majesty of mudfish.

Join the school of fearless fishermen and women in this thrilling tournament on Saturday, November 30, at the Forever Resort Loskop Dam.

The first lines can be cast at 05:00, weigh-in cut-off is at 16:00 sharp.

Just so you know, no late catches will be considered.

The entry fee is R200 per angler – no refunds for fish that get away.

Boats can be launched from the slipway adjacent to the tennis courts at the Forever Resort Loskop Dam.

The fishing format is catch-and-weigh (no catch-and-release).

The angling zones are strictly bank and boat fishing is permitted exclusively within the Forever Resort Loskop Dam boundaries.

With a prize pool deeper than the dam, this is a competition not to be missed.

Land the lunkiest mudfish and reel in a whopping R30 000. Catch the largest carp and net R1 500.

One fish per angler will be weighed, so choose your biggest catch wisely.

You can anchor your spot for the competition by contacting the resort on 013 262 3075 or Theuns Brecher on 073 161 6341.

Don’t let this opportunity slip through your net.

Join the Sterling Moddervis Bonanza and prove your skills against the best anglers in the waters.
