Suspect(s) who shot and killed a 45-year-old man during a hijacking still at large

Vosman Police are searching for the suspect who shot and killed a 45-year-old man during a hijacking incident in cold blood.
According to the police report, this senseless event unfolded on Friday, September 20, when the victim, who was driving a white club cab Toyota GD6 company vehicle, with registration number KHM 923 MP, allegedly stopped at Hlalanikahle to search for a cigarette.
During these vulnerable moments, an unknown assailant allegedly emerged and pointed the victim with a firearm, then demanded any cellphones to be handed over.

Captain Elizabeth Hlathi, Vosman Police Station spokesperson, said, “According to witnesses, the suspect assaulted the victim and then fired a shot that ultimately killed him. Currently, police are vigorously searching for the suspect(s) involved in this gruesome and unnecessary murder.”

Anyone with information about the suspect(s) is requested to contact the acting detectivebranch commander of Vosman, Lieutenant Colonel Muntu Mbatha at 082 600 8537.
