Biceps, burpees, planks and crunches for Ackerville residents

A local fitness studio transformed sweat into strenght to promote fitness and well-being throughout the community.

A fitness studio hosted a free workout session at Kwa Ntuli Complex in Ackerville, attracting fitness enthusiasts from the community.

The event on Saturday, August 17, led by founder Lucky ‘Joga’ Nkosi, featured an aerobics day that was both energizing and fun.

“We had an aerobics event, and the turnout today was good. For our first event, it was great; the participation was amazing. People engaged well and enjoyed a great day,” said Lucky.

Participants at the event were equally enthusiastic. Natasha Dease, a fitness instructor led a box session and was impressed by the energy and participation of the attendees.

“We had fun, and people participated. It’s all about a healthier lifestyle,” Dease noted.

The event was not just about physical fitness; it was also an opportunity for the community to unite and support each other.

Offense Cleopatra Mogale, a fitness fanatic, shared her excitement about the session and praised the event.

Participants praised the energy and supportive atmosphere, “I had a nice experience and got to network and meet new people. The nice thing about today is that everyone was helping and motivating each other; there was a lot of support,” Tshegofatso Maseko said.

The free workout session at the complex is just the beginning as Nkosi and his team plan to host more events to promote fitness and well-being throughout the community.
