Murder mystery unfolds in eMalahleni

Police have launched an investigation into the murder of the victim declared dead by EMS after he was found near his car

A horrifying murder has shaken the eMalahleni neighbourhood, leaving police looking for leads and explanations.

The victim was discovered lying in a pool of blood near his vehicle, with two gunshot wounds in his leg. The terrible find was made on Monday, July 15, in eMalahleni.

According to the eyewitness, the vehicle was locked, and the car key was found in the victim’s hands. The deceased was declared dead by EMS and taken to Witbank mortuary, where an autopsy will be performed.

Police have launched an investigation into the murder and are following leads. A cartridge was found at the scene, which may hold crucial evidence.

The motive behind the murder is still unknown, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
