Love and gifts were dished out at HBL recently

Huis Betsie Louw was showered with winter goodies recently.

The NG Kerk Panorama recently graced the Huis Betsie Louw (HBL) Home for Disabled People.

Members of the church showed up in numbers and shared a delicious bowl of soup with the residents.

They were also spoiled for choice as various gifts were handed over to the residents to help them keep warm and cozy during the winter season.

The home currently has over 19 residents who were showered with gloves, beanies, and decorated cushions for their garden chairs on Wednesday, June 5.

HBL Secretary Brenda Kruger expressed gratitude to the church on behalf of the nursing home.

She also wished to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to visit the home and make donations.

“But most importantly, our residents like participating in activities that keep them active and fit. So if you are a dance instructor or fitness fanatic looking to give back to the community, you are more than welcome to visit us at 3 Denise St, Jackaroo Park,” Brenda said.
