Learner excellence awarded at Greendale
These learners are a true encouragement and inspiration to all learners.

With joy and pride, learners from Greendale Combined School, grades four to seven, received awards for their outstanding achievements the past year.
This special occasion on Thursday, October 19 served as a celebration of learners’ hard work and dedication.

The top achiever awards in the different grades this year went to: Pearl Mathenjwa (Grade 4) was honoured with a diploma in life skills as well as gold medals in English, maths and social science and a silver medal in Afrikaans.

In Grade 5, it was Ntokozo Nkosi who scooped up diplomas for best at English, maths and social science. He also won a gold medal for life skills.
The Grade 6 star is Mthokozisi Mbonani.

She was awarded a diploma in English, natural science, technology, social science and mathematics and silver medals in Afrikaans and life skills. Mthokozisi was also in the Top 10 for three terms and 10th in the NST competition.
Head boy, Siyafisa Vezi (Grade 7) received the highest honour as Dux learner.

He received a diploma in economic and management science, and silver medals for English, Afrikaans, technology and life orientation.
Siyafisa, furthermore, was awarded merit certificates for social science, mathematics, natural science and creative arts.
Luandle Dubazane was recognised for academics with diplomas in English (gold) and life skills and social science (silver).

This learner is also a star on the athletic field where she received the trophy for best athlete, seven gold medals and two silver medals for 80m, 100m and relay.
Luandle also represented Mpumalanga in cross-country at national level.
These learners are a true encouragement and inspiration to all learners.
