Love is all they need at SPCA

Eligibility will be confirmed on the day when you’ll have to supply three months' bank statements, proof of residence and an ID card/document.

The local Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has new and old faces up for adoption this week.

It has been said that the love of an animal is the purest and best love any human can receive.

Why not give your family the gift of love and adopt an animal in need at the rescue?

Emily.

There are dogs and cats up for adoption but you can help out for the day and volunteer some of your time to help out and keep the animals company.

You can also donate dry and wet dog and cat food to help keep their tummies full.

Boo.

The local SPCA also has a sterilization outreach project taking place as follows:

Thursday, October 19 at Laerskool Klipfontein

Friday, 20 October in Ackerville

Saturday, October 21, and Sunday, October 22 at their premises on 12 Ermelo Avenue, Riverview.

Luigi.

The outreach is specifically for low-income families who ordinarily won’t be able to afford to pay the hefty vet bill for sterilization.

Eligibility will be confirmed on the day when you’ll have to supply three months’ bank statements, proof of residence and an ID card/document.
