The Ridge Casino donated exercising equipment to encourage elders to continue with keeping healthy.

The Ridge Casino celebrated Mandela Day at the Faith, Fit and Health Old Age Centre in Empumelelweni.

The centre is where elders meet and exercise.

 

The Ridge Casino donated exercising equipment including 40 bags, skipping ropes, stretch bands, towels, resistance bands, yoga mats, medicine balls, dumbbells and goodie bags filled with snacks to encourage elders to continue with keeping healthy.

The Ridge Casino celebrated Mandela Day at the Faith, Fit and Health Old Age Centre in Empumelelweni.

As Nelson Mandela once said, “A society that does not value its older people denies its roots and endangers its future. Let us strive to enhance their capacity to support themselves for as long as possible and, when they cannot do so anymore, to care for them.”
