A service delivery protest action is currently underway in Tasbet Park.

Motorists should avoid driving on the R55 (Bethal Road) as the intersection at Kiepersol Street is currently closed.

Protestors are burning tyres and have blocked the road with stones and also vandalised the traffic lights at the intersection.

Heavy-duty vehicles and cars are not permitted to pass as the protestors are threatening those who do so.

Motorists and residents are advised to use caution and avoid the area.
