Two schools receive latest in technology

Ms Charlot Mabena said by presenting the schools with computers and the laboratory, they were investing in the school.

Two schools in KwaGuqa were presented with the latest in technology in that they were presented with computers and a fully equipped laboratory.

The schools were D.M. Motsaosele Secondary School and Pine Ridge Combined School and the presentation was held on Wednesday, February 15.

A partnership between Eskom Duvha Power Station and EnFloTech made it possible.

Mr Arthur Zulu (school SGB), Ms Charlot Mabena (EnFloTech) and Mr Maila Mamuleka (Eskom) with the computers presented at the school on Wednesday, February 15.

Eskom official Mr Maila Mamuleka said that they have partnered with schools to work hand in hand with schools to manage their system for proper functioning. He added to say that they will also further engage with the school for development.

Eskom indicated that they were happy and grateful to be part of the school’s development and will at all times offer support.

EnFlotech believes that children are the future and they need to be introduced to the latest in technology and they will do their best when called upon to do so and education was key to success.

EnFloTech will also hold a career guidance seminar at Pine Ridge Combined School on Friday, February 24 for last year’s matriculants and they have invited different companies and government to be a part of the programme.

Ms Charlot Mabena said by presenting the schools with computers and the laboratory, they were investing in the school.

The laboratory will help the learners in the different sciences subjects.

The desk top computers and laptops are loaded with all the software they will need and will be able to fix any problems they encounter in their studies.

“As an engineering company we are bringing technology to your fingertips. Make good use of the resources and fulfil your dreams as these will help you achieve. The laboratory is also fully equipped with chemicals for the whole year for your benefit as well,” said Ms Mabena.
