The N4 between Kromdraai Interchange and Mathews Phosa Interchange remains closed.

Motorists are encouraged to use an alternative road as the N4 near Vosman in eMalahleni is closed due to an ongoing strike.

N4 is closed due to an ongoing strike.

Disgruntled residents of KwaGuqa closed the road at about 06:30 this morning with intentions to form a service delivery protest.

Protestors claim they have been without electricity and water for more than four weeks.

Ms Solange Soares spokesperson for TRAC informed WITBANK NEWS this afternoon that the road is still closed and advised motorists to use an alternative route.

*Alternative routes: From Johannesburg take the Balmoral off-ramp, pass Kusile Power Station and then get back on the N4 and from eMalahleni take the N4, use the Balmoral/Ogies off-ramp past Kusile to get to the N12.
