Laerskool Panorama’s Gladiator fun day was enjoyed by all

Learners were provided with the opportunity to interact with their friends.

The learners thoroughly enjoyed themselves on a sunny Friday morning as the field was filled with various slides and jumping castles.

Some of the teachers could not contain their inner child and ended up on the slides as well.

The Gladiator day was planned by the school teachers and relevant stakeholders.

Laerskool Panorama teacher Christiaan Stander emphasised the necessity of planning in due course, more importantly when working with children.

“This event takes a lot of manpower and preparations to host. There should be provisions made for power outages and unforeseen circumstances that may occur. The learners had a blast at the Gladiator day. Various slides kept them busy during the day. They enjoyed the giant slide as well as the foam machine.”

Christiaan mentioned having a fun day at school has many benefits for learners because the learners were provided with the opportunity to interact with their friends.

“With the recent pandemic that took place, we could not host this event for three years, so the learners were very excited.”

When learners enjoy themselves, they create memories that are not forgotten.

Therefore, such an eventful day has a big impact on their development.
