The Shadow Phoinix kickboxing club had their martial arts championships and their team did very well in two of the six divisions held on the day.
The event was held in Nelspruit on September 17.
The team of seven and their instructor, Pelser Steenkamp took to the mats showing their skills for either a gold, silver, or bronze medal.
In total the team took two gold, seven silver, and six bronze medals for points sparring and continuous sparring respectively.
