Robert Carruthers School played a hockey match on Tuesday, August 16 against Laerskool Kragbon.

Both teams took to the field with hockey sticks in hand and delivered an outstanding performance.

RCS was the first to score in the first round of the game, and as the game progressed, they had many chances to score, but they had one problem, which were the strikers, as they had the ball most of the time and were moving it to the goal line, but the strikers were not taking advantage of the chances.

Kragbon was doing well, but RCS dominated that round.

The first round ended with 1-0, with both teams putting in incredible performances.

On the second round Kragbon and RCS clashed on the hockey field, and continued as they displayed some fantastic hockey.

Kragbon was looking for a goal to equalize as they took the game to their opponents, creating several chances and scoring a goal to equalize.

In the last minutes before the final whistle Kragbon were looking forward to scoring a goal to win the game as they attacked RCS, but due to their opponents’ defending, they couldn’t, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
