Beauties off to Cape Town for international pageant
Local beauties are on their way to the airport.
A group of local gents and beauties will be representing their heritages of our beautiful rainbow nation in the following next weeks.
International judges, participants and scouts will be flying in for the 2022 Miss Magnificent Women Icons, Mr Magnificent Men Icons and the Phenomenal, participants with special needs, disabled, autism and Down syndrome.
All different age categories and different platforms of judging will be taking place in the Mother City, Cape Town, from August 22 to 27.
“The international pageant was scheduled to take place in Dubai and for some other political reasons the organiser had to adapt and move the pageant to South Africa,” said Mr Andries du Preez, who himself has a few titles behind his name.
He is the current Mr MMI South Africa.
Finalists will be judged on national costume, interview, evening wear and most important community service and upliftment.
“The once 2020 delegates waited patiently in the wings for this day to arrive as the international pageant was postponed due to the world pandemic Covid-19, but this did not keep them from serving their communities and brightening smiles,” said Andries.
