Load shedding stages 2, 3 and 4 are to be implemented

The eMalahleni Local Municipality has posted an updated schedule of load shedding.

They announced that Eskom will reduce load shedding to stage 2 from 00:00 until 07:00 today.

Stage 3 load shedding will then be implemented from 07:00 until 16:00.

The darkness will thicken as load shedding will be increased to stage 4 from 16:00 to midnight.

The following substations will be affected at these times:

Stage 2:

Ga-Nala Substation will be affected from 01:00 until 03:30.

Grobler Substation will be affected from 03:00 until 05:30.

Stage 3:

Clewer, Ogies and Phola Substation will be affected from 07:00 until 09:30.

KwaGuqa Substation will be affected from 09:00 until 11:30.

Grobler Substation will be affected from 11:00 until 13:30.

Buffer Substation will be affected from 13:00 until 15:30.

Clewer, Ogies and Phola Substation will be affected from 15:00 until 17:30.

Lastly, stage 4 will affect:

Doornpoort, Rietspruit and KwaGuqa Substation will be affected from 16:00 until 17:30.

Ga-Nala Substation will be affected from 17:h00 until 19:30.

Grobler Substation will be affected from 19:00 until 21:30.

Buffer Substation will be affected from 21:00 until 23:30.

Clewer, Ogies and Phola Substation will be affected from 23:00 until 01:30.
