Chase leads to the recovery of vehicle and suspect arrested
Bakkie recovered after it was hijacked in Johannesburg
A bakkie was hijacked in Johannesburg, which led to a high speed chase to eMalahleni.
On Monday morning, April 25 the bakkie was tracked by Netstar/Cyber Search towards eMalahleni.
The suspects drove the bakkie into the Total Route N4 unaware that there was still a lot of police in the area after the ANC conference that took place this weekend at the dam.
One suspect jumped out of the bakkie and was shot with a rubber bullet.
He was arrested, no other injuries were sustained.
Police are busy with the investigation.
