Witbank SAPS invite all men to a conference
The purpose of the men’s conference is to give men a platform to express themselves.
Join the South African Police Service in their effort to empower men of the generation.
This initiative will take place on Wednesday, March 16 at 10:00 at the Methodist Church in Louise Street.
“The purpose of the men’s conference is to give men a platform to express themselves, to open up and not to keep things bottled up, to be allowed to express themselves and pour their hearts out, for them to be heard and not judged,” said Sergeant David Ratau, police spokesperson.
The event will be held for men’s benefit, and some of the discussion points of the day will include:
- Who is taking care of men? How can a heart that is bleeding be expected to nurse others?
- What can be done to change the behaviour of men?
- What can be done to motivate men?
- What implementations can be implemented in organisations and society that will encourage men to open up, not bottle things?
- Identification of major causes that result in men killing themselves and spouses
- How to help men to deal and handle situations and challenges
- How to reduce the number of domestic violence
The conference goal is to preserve and save lives of men who are depressed and oppressed.
