Community members forcing foreign national shops to close their doors

It is still unclear when the foreign national shops will open their doors again for business

The warning has been made clear by the community members of eMalahleni that foreign national shops will remain closed.

On Thursday morning, March 3 a group of community members marched up and down each road in the Central Business District (CBD) forcing the foreign national shops to close their doors and leave the building.

Police were monitoring the situation as the protesters moved through the streets in the CBD.

This all comes after the shooting that took place on Monday afternoon, February 28 in front of Weng Family Supermarket.
