A group of girls were recently arrested for assault and a case of Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) was also opened against them.

The group of eight girls appeared in Witbank Magistrate’s Court on Monday, January 10.

They were arrested on Saturday, January 8 in Old Coronation after they stabbed and assaulted an elderly woman on December 21.

The elderly woman alleged that she was on her way home when she was assaulted by the group.
