New Year accident on OR Tambo

Pastor Jeremiah Zulu was on the scene praying for the seriously injured driver

Five people have been injured in an accident on the OR Tambo bend early on New Year’s Day.

The accident occurred on Saturday, January 1 where two vehicles were involved in a collision.

It’s still unclear how the accident occurred between a white Hyundai i10 and an Emalahleni Municipal bakkie.

Two employees from the Emalahleni City Council were taken to Life Cosmos Hospital for further treatment of their injuries.

Two passengers in the Hyundai were taken to various hospitals for treatment.

The driver of the Hyundai was seriously injured.

Paramedics from Legacy Emergency Services stabilised the driver before taking him to eMalahleni Private Hospital.

Pastor Jeremiah Zulu was on the scene praying for the seriously injured driver.
