Car stolen from secured parking lot

A woman parked her car in a secure parking lot, hours later she was notified by a tracking company that her vehicle had been stolen.

The incident happened on Saturday, June 21 when Ms Nelly Petros parked her car. She went inside the building, where she stayed for a couple of hours.

Before leaving her Nissan 1400 unattended Petros made sure all her windows were closed and that the doors were locked.
“I parked my car and everything was in order, then I went inside,” said Petros.

At a later stage she received a call from a tracking company who told her the terrible news, that her car had been stolen.
Petros made a case of theft of motor vehicle at Witbank Police Station.

On Tuesday, June 24 Petros received a phone call from the SAPS about her vehicle.

“The SAPS told me that they were going to look in Pretoria on Wednesday for my vehicle,” said Petros.
