Bikers rolling it out for charity at Balmoral

All motorcycles stopped to compete in the fun day for charity

The 1313 Mac’s Familia Motorcycling  Club put their helmets aside to compete with each other for charity.

Bikers came from places such as Belfast, Bronkhorstspruit, Boksburg, Middleburg and other Mac’s Familia Motorcycling Club branches.

The event was hosted on Saturday, November 6 at Sergeant Pepper in Balmoral.

All motorcycles stopped to compete in the fun day; some had brought their children along who also had games in which they competed in.

Many of the games challenged the bikers to use their physical strength and their emotional fitness.

Business also placed up their stores to get support form the bikers.

A prize giving ceremony was held to celebrate all the winners for the day.

One of the winners won a wheelbarrow filled with alcohol, which he would enjoy with his club and family.

“The event was a huge success, over 184 people attended. Ten houses are done so far and we are still planning to build two more. The project started on Monday, November 8. One house has also been installed with furniture and we are very grateful for that,” said Olivia Verster, organizer and member of 1313 MAC’s Familia Middleburg.
